Our HELICO AEL heliport perimeter lights are used to mark the FATO and
touchdown and lift-off area (TLOF) for land based heliports. The good colour
contrast of the AEL helps the pilot to see the heliport, while approaching
and landing at night and/or in bad weather conditions.
Perimeter lights cannot be taller than 25cm and must be recessed in case
they are considered as an obstacle to proper take-off operations. The
elevated inset lights are provided with mounting baseplate.
The NVG and dimmable LEDs option is also available.
